Got to be careful with the frames on those off road.
There was a thread on Arfcom with pics of frames getting messed up from light use in the field.

I have never heard that on the FJ, maybe a rare case?
The Raptor however has a lot of messed up frames because people using them to jump (like in the commercials). Not even big jumps, and bending the frames.

Not really, they just had that rust issue (the big one) because they didn't dip the frames like they were supposed to.

Fortunately it is a Landy, so I don't need to mod the hell out of it to go offroad like some companies.
I really do want a 110 series Defender though!

The Yotas frames either weren't dipped or were not done properly. So, it causes rust to set in quickly and very premature... weakening the frames.

My LR dealer gets Unimogs in every now and then.
Tried to trade my Impala off for a Defender, maybe he would for a Unimog....
The wife and I have been searching for a good Uni for a bit but they are scarce.
