My beaters
Bought this new in Sept 2001. 2002 Grand Am GT. I catch a lot of crap from some on here about it, but I don't care, it has been a good car. 122k on the clock now. Developing new little quirks here and there, but still going strong. Pretty much stock. Borla cat-back exhaust and an intake are the only performance mods I ever got around to. SC/T body kit went on a few years ago, still missing the ram air hood to complete it. Everything on the car was done by me, including custom sub boxes.
This was from the first week I had it
This is it now (paint on the front is a lot worse for wear these days though)
Subs, and a useable trunk
This one was given to me by my ex's grandpa. 1988 Silverado regular cab, long bed, 305ci, 2wd. Since I got it for free I've put new tires on it, replaced a rotor and brake hose (collapsed hose), front pads, replaced a rusted brake line, cut out the cat, replaced the intake manifold, had the AC converted, put in a new battery, stereo, speakers, headliner and seat belts. As well as a few other odds and ends. So much for a free vehicle....
And it burns oil like a sumbitch...

Re: My beaters
Looks clean racer. I love seeing cars that were well maintained.
