Is PM having issues?

My Outbox is clogged... Shouldn't they show under sent items?
I have a plunger if u want borrow it. Or maybe try some x-lax? Kentucky Armory Club

Just so I understand, will a new PM sent show up in the "Outbox (#)" until it is read by the recipient, then it will show as "Sent messages"?
