Spent 7k on two bottles of water today and got a ring for free. The whole time knowing lotus was not far away and having a sale.. Was thinking man I sure could buy a lot of fire arms with this 7k... Sigh....
At least she lets me go shooting with her Dad and doesn't tell me I can't buy guns... She actually takes intrest and tells me to buy them

I've had several vehicles that I didn't spend $7,000 on.
You have set precedence and it must now be maintained.

Rings are freaking over priced... It is what she wanted and she doesn't ask for much.....

Haha you guys be crazy.....i spent about 300 bucks on wifes ring. Only reason i got off so cheap is because she already had all the diamonds from her grandmothers ring and she knows a really good jeweler. So all i had to do ws buy the setting and then pay the jeweler. Then of course when she picked her wedding band it was but we only spent "300" on my rign so that means i get to spend more on my band. I tried the same reasoning with her on guns.....did not work!

My wife's diamond was like 600 (1/4 carat), the wedding band was 500 and she thought that was expensive in the late 80's. She doesn't know what happened to the diamond as I bought her an anniversary band probably 10 years ago for 700 and she only wears that now (band with 4 diamonds).

The size of the ring dont mean shit. Come back when you have been married 38 years. I didnt have the money to buy a ring but I still have her.

42 years the 25th of this month. Her 1st ring cost $100 back in 1970.
