Re: Remington Rand 1911
Is that original finish on it? I would like to own it but out of my budget currently. looks to be in great shape for a 1944 manufactured pistol. GLWS
I was only going to build one...

Remington Rand 1911
I highly doubt it’s the original finish on it. I’m currently accepting reasonable offers. I found a Ballester Molina that I want!SSGBPowell wrote:Is that original finish on it? I would like to own it but out of my budget currently. looks to be in great shape for a 1944 manufactured pistol. GLWS

And the barrel is not original, would just be marked with PSmithengineered wrote:I highly doubt it’s the original finish on it. I’m currently accepting reasonable offers. light strike of the crossed cannons symbol would indicate buffing to refinish
Seems like maybe someone strengthened the numbers of the Serial # and lettering due to the use and buffing maybe
still a good shooter I bet. Wish I had it.
