Rossi 'The Overland' hammered 12 gauge double barrel

Post by kokopelli » Wed Jan 22, 2014 4:45 pm

Old School 1980's imported Amadeo Rossi, beautiful blued steel and real walnut, brass bead front sight, 3" chambers, real working hammers. 20" barrels, one is Modified and one is Full choked, dual triggers.

This is head and shoulders above those crappy Chinese P.O.S's being imported now that are spray painted with bamboo stocks and fake/rebounding hammers...
These don't come up for sale often- nobody wants to let them go, including me... the Cowboy Action guys love these things...trying here first then going to SASS classifieds.

I'll get better/more pictures up asap.

$420, located in Middletown, no trades at this time.

Bump for a GREAT GUN.

I have been using one of these as a beat around/home defense shotgun for thirty years.

I consider mine a family heirloom. If I had to pick one gun for the rest of my life, this would be it.

Yeah, I like mine that much.

There is a reason that these don't come on the market that often.

If I had the money, I would grab it just to have another one.

I was asked about the chokes: it doesn't have screw-in chokes; the barrels are tapered to each 'choke' size, so you can shoot anything through it...
I may have a deal pending, but
I'm still going to get some pictures up of it, should be able to do it in a few...
