AR-180 was the semi-auto version of the AR-18. There is also a AR-180B (AR-180 with a polymer lower and some other changes) which is of more recent production.
About the only similarity the AR-180 has with the AR-15 is the same design company (Armalite, thus the AR in the model name) and both shoot 5.56. The AR-180B though does use AR mags unlike the other versions of the AR-18. I need to get mine to the range more often, sweet shooters.

The AM15 full auto UPPER RECEIVER for M11/9 SMG allows you to shoot unmodified .22LR American 180 drums, in either 165 round, 220 round or 275 round capacity on YOUR full auto M11/9 machine gun host receiver. The full auto AM15 upper receiver conversion is a full auto only OPEN BOLT drum fed .22LR rimfire caliber conversion that ejects out the bottom.

We put the project on the shelf for awhile, at least until we get caught up on our other standard products. No idea at this point when or if we will revisit the project.

Hi all, Can anyone ID a MG for me? Back when I was about 10 in '64 or '66, my Grandpa wanted to buy me an MG. It cost 800$ at the time and shot .22s. The mag could hold about 200 .22shorts. It looked like a Lewis gun from WW1. BTW, my dad would not let grandpa buy it, he wanted me to learn how to really shot, not just "spray and pray". Anyway, are they still around? If so, about what would one cost today?

Here's a picture of my American 180. I just sold it for $10,000 and bought an M11/9 mm. They're a lot of fun to shoot but you have to have the right ammo. Mine liked CCI Mini Mags.

I know a guy who converted his M11/9 with a 22 conversion to accept the American 180 drums on top. Real fun thing to shoot. Hopefully he'll have it with him at the 22 match at the Machine Gun shoot as he promised me a run with it

I think I just met that guy on Uzitalk. I seen a video and pictures of it. It's pretty cool.
