Re: The waiting game.....
I have been looking at the mark ii and was torn between the FV and the FVSR
FV 21" barrel would have to ask cranky to thread
FVSR factory threaded with 16.5" barrel
I had been thinking 21" before the sparrow came, but now taking a second look
Thoughts?

It is hardly too strong to say that the Constitution was made to guard the people against the dangers of good intentions. There are men in all ages who mean to govern well, but they mean to govern. FSVR, definitely. With the Sparrow fitted, it will be 21-22". Much longer & it can get a bit unwieldy.

Got email today from RexT. My tax stamp is approved. I pick up my Gemtech Outback II tomorrow. 17 weeks from efiling until stamp received.
Cutting grass is the price I gladly pay for not being cold.

Re: The waiting game.....
Picked up the Sparrow, had GREAT fun testing it with 4 kinds of ammo in the 22/45 lite.
Oh, and bought an Octane from RexT that he had in stock. He did the F4 paperwork right there while I waited since he already had all my trust paperwork.
This stuff is ADDICTING. Oh well, Wyldman warned me.....

Re: The waiting game.....
Wow that seemed quick.
On the Octane that I bought from Rex, we did the paperwork while I was picking up the Sparrow on July 11.
The ATF cashed my check on July 22.
I got an email today from Rex that he has the approved F4 and I can pick up the Octane!
By my count, from the check cashing date to the receipt of the F4 by Rex, the elapsed time was 4 months and 17 days. Yowsa that's pretty quick for a paper F4.
FYI I went the trust route.

Re: The waiting game.....
I ordered a Saker 7.62 from Silencershop. I really wanted one and they were among the first to get them when they were released. Otherwise I would have bought locally. It went the F3 route first and the check .for the F4 was cashed on 9/17. Fingers crossed it's only a couple more months on it based on how quick the Octane was approved.

Re: The waiting game.....
Yeah, I got prices from him before ordering. The main reason I had it sent to AA was to avoid any transfer fees...lol.

The cost is $270 for direct dealer. $200 for stamp, $50 to dealer, rest is credit card fees and paperwork fees.Tyler wrote:No transfer fee with their direct dealer program if I remember right.ssracer wrote:Yeah, I got prices from him before ordering.
