Re: ATF Form 4
No one, I used my Revocable Living Trust, although our Jefferson Co. Sherrif doesn't seem to have any issues with signing off on Form 1 & Form 4 applications.
I went trust because I wanted my family to be legally able to use the NFA stuff in the trust w/o my having to be there, and to make the transfers to my hiers easier. With a trust there is no CLEO sign-off, photographs, or fingerprints necessary, so I can't speak to the potential hassles you asked about.

Re: ATF Form 4
It was not problem
Goto the jefferson county Sheriff office. I got mine back same day. Make sure you have your finger prints done before you go. They are done across the street at metro corrections. Metro and the Sheriff will want $20 each BTW.

It sounds like a trust is the way to go. Did you set it up yourself?Wyldman wrote:No one, I used my Revocable Living Trust, although our Jefferson Co. Sherrif doesn't seem to have any issues with signing off on Form 1 & Form 4 applications.

With a little help from our resident NFA expert. PM me your email address, & I'll send you a .pdf file of a trust template you can use to establish your own trust.
