It appears as though Jeremiah Wright isn't the only unhinged, race-hustling pastor in our president's rolodex. Rev. Joseph Lowery, who delivered the benediction at Obama's 2009 inauguration, says he believes all white people are going to hell:
The Rev. Joseph Lowery, a patriarch of the civil rights movement and close ally of the president, said at a weekend rally in central Georgia that the “level and hatred and bitterness” borne of this election had made him a believer that whites were going to hell. Lowery said, according to the Monroe County Reporter, it was the same belief he held at the height of the civil rights movement. Eventually he mellowed, believing that not all whites, rather only “most,” would get their brimstone comeuppance. “Now,” the local newsweekly reported, “he is back to where he was.”
Lowery also opined that he's mystified by any black person who would not vote for Obama, using a racial slur to punctuate his point:
He also said he could not imagine any African American not voting for the president’s reelection. “I don’t know what kind of ni**er wouldn’t vote with a black man running,” the frail 91-year-old said, according to the paper. “Nobody intelligent would risk this country with Romney.”
I'm sure I'll be accused of race-baiting simply for pointing out someone else's rank, disgusting race-baiting, but whatever. This is an absolutely vile sentiment. If a white pastor said the same thing about blacks, he would he pilloried and shunned -- and rightly so. I recognize that Lowery lived through a time and faced discrimination that I cannot imagine, but that does not excuse these comments. A man who faced down so much racism in his time appears to have become a racist himself. How sad.

I guess whites are the only ones with hatred and bitterness over this election? More retarded race crap. IMO for the most part the only people who perpetuate race hate in this country is minorities.

I am not , not voting for Romney either it looks so far.
I just have not made up my mind.

IMo anyone who votes for someone without knowing the facts and ignoring the truth is an idiot. Color does not matter in this equation. Yep all races have stupid people, but it seems Obama's following black, white or green follows him blindly off the cliff of democracy into the sea of communism.
