All signs were pointing to the fact he wasn't going to win. Why waste time and money campaigning further? Plus he now has to defend his seat.jrbenny wrote:Somebody is likely requesting it. Follow the money in his Senate race. You'll see who wanted him to focus on Kentucky. We'll see if he endorses someone, too.
There are criminals among us who are both homicidal and incorrigible. Their parents took a shot at civilizing them and failed. Their school teachers took a shot at them and failed. The odds are overwhelming that government welfare programs and penal institutions took a shot at them and failed. If it ever becomes your turn to take a shot at them, don’t fail.

Lex mayor threw his hat into the ring just a few days ago just a few hours before the deadline. Until then no one was consider a threat to Paul keeping his senate seat. Combine that with him doing poorly in Iowa, why stay in?Fudge wrote:Could have focused on one from the beginning, you know maybe the one we are paying him to do? Or go all in and run for the oval.WLJ wrote:All signs were pointing to the fact he wasn't going to win. Why waste time and money campaigning further? Re: Rand fans....
He has focused on Kentucky during his campaign. Please go to his site and sign up for his emails.
To say he has done nothing is wrong.
I cant link shit on this phone or I would post up links.
Running for POTUS is like trying to be the single team to win the superbowl. He stayed in longer than I thought he would but the media chose to focus on others and that is what hurt him.
Running for president is now a 3 ring circus act.

Precisely why it's pointless to even attempt to persuade someone on the internet. When they disagree and you really don't give a fuck, they'll call you names.
Enjoy your gold star. You sure earned it today.

Re: Rand fans....
From what I have seen Rand has done a good job of keeping up with his duties for KY, while running for office, while doing pro-bono surgeries for people that cant afford help, while keeping a consistent percentage (94.1%) voting on bills in the senate..
I follow his email letter and his facebook page and he seems to do quite a bit...

Thay was my outlook, he knows at a certain point he is possible away money. Put it towards something useful. Feeling good trying your hardest is one thing but knowing when you are out is better.WLJ wrote:All signs were pointing to the fact he wasn't going to win. Re: Rand fans....
It's kind of like if you were doing something after work. It doesn't effect your day job. He doesn't need to be in KY to handle lots of things he could do from a computer which is where a lot of the main work comes from in this day and age besides seeing people ftf which he is always doing. It isn't like he works the line at subway and sandwiches won't be made since he is in another state. That's all I'm saying. It seems like you think he clocked out of his job and never thought about KY but you and I won't know how much he did or didn't do when away. I just don't know why you think he didn't work on KY when away. I don't expect him to work 24hrs a day on KY and accept there is time in his schedule to do more with his life.Fudge wrote:No it is not. Those are votes, there is much more to his position than simply voting. I expect his time focused in KY... You know the state he represents. There are PLENTY of more relevant things he can do for KY than campaign in other places. Why is it unreasonable to expect him to do his job?jrbenny wrote:Rand has missed only 6% of the Senate votes during the campaign. To imply he's not doing the job is an unfair assessment.
Rubio on the other hand...
