I had decided to not watch this. However I feel that if I am going to discuss the topic with others, I should watch it. It has been on for a little more than 40 minutes and I haven't had a massive stroke yet. I am proud of the opposition to the President and his actions. The Sheriff was polite and straight to point about enforcement of laws and not making laws on his own. I liked his statement of the oath that the Sheriff and the President took to preserve and uphold the Constitution. Obama is in his typical academic arrogance and not truthful (or ignorant ) about the sale of firearms.
At least the opposing view is being put forth by some competent people from our side. I'm surprised that CNN has allowed it.
Shit for brains also said criminals get machine guns and silencers from Trusts because there are no background checks, just like Internet gun sales.
Also the state of Indiana sells guns without background checks.
The guy is a clueless sack of shit.

This has been my thought since day one, and it still is. Seems to me the whole thing is based on people's lack of education on the law

In the world of politicians the truth is whatever gets you elected, everything else is a lie.
Politicians are the same all over. They promise to build a bridge even where there is no river.

Only thing I could find was a note in one article printed the day of the announcement and crybaby show that says "the EO will be signed later this week" (its Friday and nothing). He didn't even sign it that day apparently...acting

What are the chances of this becoming law? How long will it take?

Thank God that most of the Democrats in Kentucky are still the old school southern democrats. A lot haven't bought into the far left of the National party.
Now if we could get a law that allows CC permit holders the right to carry without having to worry about stupid places like the yum center. For real, I pay you money to get in and you want me disarmed.!

A guy I know at the gun shows said we should propose a bill banning all democrats from being able to buy guns. Pretty funny idea for those who wish to do away with them.
