When my kids were middle schoolers but getting older and too cool for parents, we always threatened them with putting their younger pictures on a t-shirt for my wife and I with the caption "DREW's DAD" or whatever and showing up at the school and making sure their friends could see it. They knew that I would do it--got some good behavior modification out of them that way.
