I grew up hearing my dad, who died in November, say that I would see a race war in my lifetime in this country.Harb wrote:Is this how civil war begins?

It is horrifying to see these officers being assassinated just for being in a uniform. Very sad for the families that lost someone there last night. There may be more, if any of the injured don't make it.
There have certainly been some instances where a bad cop did something bad to someone that didn't deserve it. But, there is no way anyone could ever convince me that there is some sort of broad policing crisis involving unjustified use of force against a particular group. The guy in Minnesota shot sitting in the front seat of a car on video appears to be unjustified, but, there has to be an investigation to get all of the facts. Unfortunately, BHO and his justice dept. have made local law enforcement a target and publicly so. The mistrust lays directly at his feet, IMO. He should be publicly supporting every department and if there is an investigation into a department's affairs, it should be done with little fanfare until all of the issues are corrected. Then, the public should be informed in a matter-of-fact way that does not detract for that organization's status. Just my opinion.

New York Times: Legally Armed Black People At Greater Risk of Getting Shot By Cops Than White Gun Owners“While there is no data on whether legally armed white or black people are shot at higher rates in the United States, experts on implicit bias said that negative stereotypes of black people would suggest that they are at a greater risk of having their actions or intentions misinterpreted when they carry guns.”

Cue the usual "they didn't give him a chance"The suspect was killed when police sent an explosives-equipped robot into the El Centro Community College parking garage to detonate the bomb after negotiations went nowhere, Brown said, refuting earlier reports that the man killed himself
Motherfucking SKYNET is online- Send in a robot with a bomb; I'm hoping they attached a note that said "Sarah Conner?"WLJ wrote:Change that toWLJ wrote:Latest
