Yes Only 2 stolen..nightstand guns. So were and of the cans stolen?Niceguy wrote:Thank you! I appreciate any info. Also any of the good ending stories... Were they the only 2 you had stolen?
And calling local pawn shows was a bust for me. They said they have to run everything they get and if its reported they get ahokd of lmpd and they get ahold of me.

Re: STOLEN GUNS!!!
Should I go in the local gun and pawn shops and show them pics or see if they will let me email or text them? The ones I don't have it on aren't dime a dozen pistols. Like the Blackhawk with one of a kind hand carved grips, the slab side Browning Challenger III, the Pachmayr Hi Power...kokopelli wrote:...but the guns you don't have the serial number for aren't going to show a 'hit' in NCIC when they are ran...Niceguy wrote:Good info, I won't waste my time calling them then.Pitbullcrazyinky wrote:Yes Only 2 stolen..nightstand guns. Re: STOLEN GUNS!!!
I'd be calling and doing everything in my power to get the pictures out. Whatever/however they want.
They may not print whatever you send electronically, so I'd drop off pictures if I wanted them hung up or otherwise visible.

Notify Jerry & Perry's pawn shop in Shelbyville too. They move a lot of guns through that place for sure.Niceguy wrote:One of my to do things tomorrow... Thanks man!
A cop stopped me on the street and said "we're looking for a mugger who fits your description" , so I said "okay I'll do it".

Walmart photo center. They usually have data cords for printing pictures from your phone, or if you have them on a memory card in the phone, you can take it out and stick that in their photo center machine and print from there.Niceguy wrote:Is there an easy way to print phone pics?

Glad you asked. I downloaded all the pictures you posted and sent them to everyone in my text contacts and told friends/family to look out for them already...but I think I'll go to Walmart and print them myself and hang them at my work for you.Niceguy wrote:Is there an easy way to print phone pics?

Re: STOLEN GUNS!!!
I know it's to late to help you, but this might help others:
I have an Excel file with all of my firearms with serial numbers, extras / modifications and at least one photo of each side. I store it in Dropbox (which is free for so many Gigs and off-site so if computer is stolen it can still be accessed).

Re: STOLEN GUNS!!!
Good idea. My wife and I keep a running log of all our guns in a booklet made just for it. We keep a copy in house and one in our safety deposit box at the bank. I like your idea because pictures...dbh wrote:I know it's to late to help you, but this might help others:

I know some rhat do and some that don't. Pawn shops have to send serial numbers of everything I understood so police can do check for stolen goods coming in.

Re: STOLEN GUNS!!!
Spoke to the trooper for a little while today and he's requesting for a detective to be assigned to this and help along with him. He said he's running the numbers on these multiple times a day and nothing has popped up yet, and he's spoken to all the neighbors and said he's gotten a few vehicles in the area that seemed out of place and in people's driveways in the area that acted suspicious. Made a ton of great contacts on FB in the 145 shares it's gotten in the last few hours. Also have a few more people looking out for them with pics and ser. #'s at all the local gun shows. Definitely not getting hopes up yet, but I'm happy for any exposure brought to this.
