I'm not comparing pot to heroin. I'm stating that if someone wants to get high they are going to find a way. KY cracked down on pot years back and then you started seeing meth pop up,for the last 5 years thats all you hear about is the war on meth, now heroin is becoming big.1fastmach1 wrote:So if shooting heroin and smoking a joint produce the same effect, why would someone risk their life to use heroin instead of that joint? Remember, it's the same effect. Also, no shortage of pot here or anywhere else for that matter.Ar-Rob wrote:They are cheap highs. It's about supply and demand. If there isn't their drug of choice they find something else. Say your local store quits carrying your favorite whatever but they have something else that has the same end result, are you going to try it?

Fair enough. I just don't buy the gateway bullshit. Just because Joe Blow pothead can't find a J, he's not gonna buy a bag of meth. Someone addicted to pills, meth, crack, heroin sure... They might do whatever they needed to get high including buying that bag of pot.Ar-Rob wrote:I'm not comparing pot to heroin. Googling the unknown is never safe, hahaha.
In this case it's literally a circle of drums that people play... Hippy joke.

I will google just about anything. I don't always go to any of the results. Usually get an idea about what's up just from the first few hits. Lol.

Re: Legalization of Pot is spreading....
I use to think laws making pot, coke, heroin, etc., Illegal was a good idea, because maybe it will help prevent my own kids from getting involved with Drugs. I now think it does little good and maybe more harm than good. The Time and money would probabbly be put to better use helping those who want to get off the train wreck, and let the others go balls to the walls, unless they harm another. Locking people in cages for simply using, selling, buying drugs in private, is a futile attempt at protecting ones self from ones self, by those who think they know what is best for everyone. Less laws, and more personal responsibility, treat drug use, like tobacco and alcohol use.

I believe in America, an adult living as a free person should be able to do what ever the hell they want if it doesn't effect another person's rights. Same rules apply though to raising children and so forth about its use and the time and place. Example you get high on heroin and leave your kid to be hungry then you are severely punished. You smoke pcp and play video games at your house and don't murder anyone then you are fine to do so.
