Have to be careful. I had a Puerto Rican co-worker who came into a meeting one Monday feeling kinda blah. Someone asked him what was wrong and he said "just Black Monday" which is apparently a saying in PR for Mondays and going back to work. One minority lady laid into him saying "why does anything black have to be negative". This was like 10 years ago and this guy is farther from racist as possible.

Having gone thru ROTC when I did (so I don't know how they are now) but we didn't really want to have to deal with those who weren't going to be signing up eventually. They were the ones always F'ing up a lot of stuff. It was ok when the cute or hot girls would sign up for rappelling class or marksmanship class as PE but anything else they never really got anything out of and just caused many of us to have to deal with their FUBARs.Toddstang wrote:I would love to see a draft reinstated or make it mandatory for ROTC classes.
