I sanded down the texture on grip section. Taped off the rest and drilled and tapped 1911 bushings in to screw the 1911 grips on. Turned out ok. Not perfect but it works and feels like a real gun now at least.

This mod is a must for these guns IMO. It's a pain in the ass to remove all the material, but definitely worth it

22/45 grip mod
Yea, did mine a while ago but remember what a pain I the @ss it was and dusty. Take your time and make sure it is flat, line up holes for grip panels for best results. Would do it again made a world of difference in handling of the pistol.
Oh, how so high they fly........ only further to fall.
