I've had my eye out for a Mark IV Lite ever since learning of the new insanely simple breakdown process.

Got it home and screwed on my can just to get the feel, only to have the barrel nut come off the Ruger and stuck to my can. ESR Tactical had the correct tool and gladly reattached the barrel nut, torqued to factory specs with red locktite.

Took it to the range today and had a couple feed issues early on. Experimented with several different rounds. I learned 1650 fps 26 grain varmint rounds would not cycle at all.

Sometime between the 3rd and 4th magazine, I noticed it was working seamlessly, even cycling the "varmint" ammo with my can attached.

I followed up with another dozen full mags without even the slightest hiccup. Got it home and cleanup was a breeze.

Overall very pleased with it, but it's got a ways to go to prove itself as reliable as my M&P 22 Compact.

Kygunco has the black one like I just picked up for $460.03 out the door. You have to show them their ad or they try and get you for another $15-18. They had 24 left Sat around 2pm. I've only put 10 mags through mine, but no issues at all. My M&P22c would have never made 100rds without a feed issue like this one did in it's first 100rds. So with like a rimfires, it's all luck of the draw...haha

Cool, in the same ballpark. This was $433.99+tax I think. ESR? Where is that at?

They are not that easy to find in stock...

ESR is in the Industrial Park in Jeffersonville IN. Im thinking mine was $424.xx + tax -- so yeah, very comparable pricing. This happened to be the 1st threaded Mark IV Ive ever seen, just glad it wasn't periwinkle blue, pink, or fusha, lol

Like near Keislers? Definitely! Haha I didn't care if I found the one you got or the one I got, I like them both.

Exactly, ESR is across the street from Keislers, now called Orions. Post a pic of your Mark IV, I don't recall seeing it

Cool, I use to work in Clarksville and stop in there regularly 16-18 years ago. Rarely make it over there anymore and usually Madison when I do.

Nice -- mine looks red'ish kind of in my pic, but it's actually anodized bronze. I had to ditch the picatinny rail as soon as I got home, but it looks more natural on the black finish.

Wake this bioch up also. I've had 4 (currently still have 2.5...haha) of these now and feeding has been an issue with all 4. Replaced 2 or 3 with Tandemkross mag releases because that is a known issue. Still didn't feed worth a crap. Replaced 2 I still have with Volquartsen mag releases and BAM! they function perfect now...
