A couple of 22s that fell short of my expectations
I had figured I would just love the M&P 22 seeing as I'm a huge M&P fan. I found it to be too small. The safety was actually digging into my thumb when I held it. Not in a painful way but in a "I don't like this" kinda way. What a bummer.
The 22/45. Looks awesome. My expectation was that it would feel like a 1911 in my hands. I was mistaken. The grip felt quite small. Bummer number 2.
MkIII with a bull barrel and a front fiber optic was win! feels like a full sized gun and makes my hand happy. I guess this will be the direction I'm heading.

A couple of 22s that fell short of my expectations
22/45 without adding 1911 grips does feel too small. I am searching for grips to put on mine but the hassle of sanding down the texture on the frame has made me procrastinate.

Yup...it's a pain to do but 1911 grips are a must on the 22/45. Without them it heels like holding a piece of 1x

I looked at the ones nemo posted. most of the reviews I read said they were taking weeks to months to get....I'm not that patient...lol
