Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!! The precious!

Post by KYgundude » Sun Feb 03, 2013 1:29 pm

My favorite is unhappy.
Pac-Lite 22/45 with some Volquartsen inards

I started having a problem where the gun would cycle the round just fine but not actually cock the gun. If I pull the bolt back half an inch or so ( not far enough to eject the round ) and let it slam shut again it will cock and fires. Rinse and repeat on next round. My initial thought was it's too dirty so i gave it a real good cleaning and greasing thinking maybe the slide had too much resistance. Worked for the first 2 mags but by the third mag the problem was back. I'm thinkin g it needs Cranky but thought I'd toss it out for comments first

GUNDUDE MUST HAVE THE PRECIOUS!!

It's broke and unfixable, give it to me, I'll take it off your hands

There are criminals among us who are both homicidal and incorrigible. Their parents took a shot at civilizing them and failed. Their school teachers took a shot at them and failed. The odds are overwhelming that government welfare programs and penal institutions took a shot at them and failed. If it ever becomes your turn to take a shot at them, don’t fail.

Nemo is somewhat of a wizard with these Rugers. Maybe him or Cranky can chime in with a suggestion but get it right.... If not I'll trade you a $5 Hot And Ready for it.

Cranky, not even a clue man. I'm not that knowledgeable. Can I bring it over to you sometime this week?
BTW I have used 3 different types of ammo with no difference.

Up date
Kygundude gun was not having good trigger return.
Adjusted that to heavier and it works great.
Will post range results later

Once the trigger was adjusted to where we could feel the reset, it ran 50+ consecutive rounds w/o a hiccup. Still a bit too light for my taste, but it should run like a scalded dog, now.

Yes, I was helping Cranky with test firing and video taking.

Yeah, I get the giggles every time I pulled the trigger on the suppressed MechTech CCU carbine, now. It turned out better than my wildest dreams, especially running those 30 round Kriss mags.

I wish I had taken a pic of you when tried it for the first time, you looked like a cat with canary feathers on his chin!
