Yeah, but the spread would be dependent on many things that this can't account for...barrel length, choke, shot load, etc

I'm pretty sure this isn't used for duck hunting. Its gonna work fine for defensive rounds in 18 inch barrels inside of defensive distances.

All it says is grows at 1 inch per yard.

Looked like they adjusted it from single beam to a center beam with 8 dots, so I assume you can tune it for the individual platform and load you are running. Pretty neat.

The dots are equal to the number of pellets in 00 buck
Which nine is equal too 8 outer 1 inner.

Buckshot will string as it not buffered or wadded like other shot shells.

In other words the pattern spreads about 1/2 to 1 groups size for like every ten yards
