Used Mothers mag polish. It's not all that shiny(Not like my nickel model 29), but it did clean up all the little imperfections. I spent more time on the cylinder than the rest of the gun so it is nice and shiny! I like it though.

I have one of these...actually its a 586 but looks exactly like yours. I have been wanting to polish it for a long time. You have just re-inspired me.
