I just pulled the grips off while giving it a good once over and found that the original owner had wrote his name, address, phone number, and social security number on the inside of the grips. He duplicated this info on a small piece of paper (looks like a torn section of a coal miner's paycheck) and tucked it away in the mainspring housing.

Most surviving examples are beat all to hell. If I come across one for sale in that sort of condition it will be mine.
