Sig Sauer 1911's

Post by BK Meyers » Sat Jan 18, 2014 4:46 pm

Anyone have experience with Sig Sauer 1911's?? I'm thinking of selling a couple of lower priced 1911's and buying a Sig unit.

Any real world experience with them is appreciated.

I'm a huge fan of them. I have one with tons of rounds through it. It likes all ammo with the exception of Hornady TAP ammo (the angle of the bullet is too steep, causing a MEAN failure to feed.)

Oh yeah, I will say that finding holsters kinda sucks. The square slide makes it a bit difficult.

I love my sig 1911. I have a railed 4" scorpion. It shoots like a top.

I have 2, a 3" carry and a 5" Tac Ops. You are more than welcome to borrow either (or both) so you can try before you buy !!

Springfield is another good option

I'm diggin' that Tac Ops unit!!!

Buds has had a used TacPac on the site for a week or so. Price seems pretty good but would have to buy it sight unseen.
