Re: stipple on the Shield
Damn it! That makes me want to send my Shield to him also...haha I currently have 2 of his masterpieces, waiting on 1 and have another in line for him hopefully. Glocks NEED his work a lot more than the M&P's though...haha

Re: stipple on the Shield
Why spend the money when you can do yourself and it will cost a lot less money. maybe $10-15 bucks. I did my Shield and it turn out good if not better then a professional. Save the money and buy extra ammo to feed the gun. Just my 2-cents and I know that it don't mean nothing!
Kill em all and let God sort them out! <===== What a keyboard Commando like me would say. Mostly because I am frustrated with my lack of success with life.

Re: stipple on the Shield
You have to practice on something similar to your gun to get the right pattern down and have a lot of patience when working on your gun. It took me two weeks an hour each day to be able to feel comfortable with doing my own gun.

Not everybody wants to sit down and work on a frame for hours on end.SAMPLE wrote:Why spend the money when you can do yourself and it will cost a lot less money. maybe $10-15 bucks. The shield above has around 8-9 hours in it. It's not just stippling. There is hours of shaping and grinding before the iron ever gets turned on.

That's a pretty cool little do - hickey for holding the firearm you have there Slo. Where'd you get it? And what size tip are you using in your iron? Setting?

Apex makes it. Handy at times, fits all S&W and flock auto's.rustynuts wrote:That's a pretty cool little do - hickey for holding the firearm you have there Slo. Where'd you get it? And what size tip are you using in your iron? Setting?
I use a very fine point. Think sharpened pencil.
