finally made something not as ugly. The problem I have is I hate messing up the wood stock when it comes to taken the rifle apart. Also the extra 5 rounds will be pretty cool. Really the only question I have is about optics.

My expected response aside, I actually do really like this. It appears no permanent modifications are necessary, preserving historical value. All changes appear to be innovative, FUNCTIONAL changes with a distinct lack of bullshit tacticool.

The price is a little on the high side for what I would want to put into a Mosin, BUT if the quality of the product justifies it then I am all for it. I would much rather have an expensive stock that is worth it than a budget stock that is horrible.

It actually does look like it could be a worthwhile addition to modernize the Mosin Nagant rifle, way better in execution than the ATI sporter stock currently available.

If only it wasn't an expensive ($200.00 msrp) ProMag product, especially the "must have" add on magazines @ $25 each. I'm sorry, but I've been burned by ProMag products once too often.
