Anyone shot one of these? I have read that they shoot well. For the price point, looks interesting.

Looks like the Remington 783 is getting better reviews from what I have read.

Don't know where the reviews are on the Remmy...but the Ruger American Rifle is pretty dang awesome. Accurate. Better than me for sure. I took it to an Appleseed and did well. The timed events were tough with the bolt gun though.

Factory sights are not bad. I used the scope height cheek comb and put a scope on it though.

Bolt was a little stiff until I had put about 100 rounds through it. Can't be certain if I got used to it or it got smoother. Maybe a combination.

And the main reason I got it... I have an abundance of 10/22 mags. Not having to buy new mags for a new rifle is a big plus.

This months Field and Stream and or Outdoor Life did a review.

I have not shot one, but the features it comes with and the design , it the evolution of the bolt rifle. I feel when the after market catches up it will be one of the best designs you could get for a custom rifle.

Has the savage style barrel nut so changing barrels is an at home job.

Floating bolthead so the need to lap lugs for accuracy sake is greatly reduced.

The action is a tube , very stiff and strong.

The bolt is a simple tube with a changeable bolt handle, no tools required.

The bedding is a machined v block in the stock with a grooves in the reciver for the blocks.

all features that scream for a custom build.

The weak point IMO is the bottom metal or lack of.

The piss poor magazine
