A Romanian Wasr 10's bolt will stick to the rear sometimes. I've read where this is very common with this rifle. I haven't read any cures or fixes. Is this something that can fixed or is it even an issue?

We've fired at least 200 rounds thru it this weekend and didn't have any issues with it. He asked me about it tonight if I thought it was the dust cover catching it and I dont have a clue, soooo I'm asking the experts here.

Usually the bolt dragging over the hammer and nothing to do with the dust cover. Nothing to worry about if gun functions normally.

Most AKs are not the smoothest cycling firearm out there, kind of the nature of the beast. If it fired fine, it's usually nothing to worry about. If an AR did that then I would worry but not on an AK.

That's what mine does. Never caused an issue.

Most often attributed to after market hammers or poor or incorrect installation. Often, just polishing the hammer face &/or the bottom of the bolt carrier will correct the problem.

I'd say it'll smooth out with use if it's stock.

What needs to be done is mill the top of the hammer and bottom of bolt
With rachet teeth.
That way it locks togather tight .
Helps with accuracy and function

When you load , let bolt fly, don't try to pussy load it

Or you could just get an AR
