All the WASR's are pretty much made new and shipped from Romainia and then CAI cuts the mag wells open here for the double stacks.
I think that the CUGIR plant went belly up this year.
Read an article in Shotgun News that they were destroying firearms now.

If they went under they should be selling for money, not destroying. Btw the sentence destroying AK's. Are me vomit!

Selling off inventory would make sense, instead of destroying. Now, unused parts I could see destroying.

Instead of destroying at least save your energy and I will send pre-paid postage to return parts to my place.

Looks like it.
Also forgot, but when I talked to Atlanticfirearms a couple months back, they mentioned that the CUGIR factory stopped the PSL production for the US and would probably stop shipping anything to CAI soon.

If you want that PSL, better move soon or prices will go out of sight. I never thought I'd see the day when a PSL would be worth as much as a real Dragunov (SVD) rifle, but it's becoming more and more apparent that it's now possible.

Parts kits are selling for $100-200 more then what I paid for my complete rifle with a scope now.
