I thought this reeked of "Lets throw some shit on the wall and see what sticks." I am still going to call my rep and senator Monday to let them know I am against this crap.

I know, I live in Jefferson county as well, we would be screwed SO hard. That is why I am concerned about it.

Something to watch in Frankfort

I received an email from NRA today and wanted to share in case some of you did not receive it. It is about a new Bill proposed during the first days of the new session. I hope this does not go anywhere, but I will call my state rep and senator next week just in case. "Unfortunately, anti-gun sentime...

Re: Insight playing billing games?

We ditched Insight a couple of years ago for AT&T U-Verse. LOVE it. Nice fast internet and the TV is great too. It has never gone out for us other than power failures, know on wood of course. After my first year I called and complained and they gave me another good deal, not as good as the intro but...

Re: no wonder I can't find a job

I call bullshit I agree. I would hire a vet in a minute. Most managers I know would prefer a vet to a non vet. I think even managers that are not ex military themselves have a hirer level of respect for vets. This article http://www.weknownext.com/workforce/us-military-veterans-being-hired-but-not-...

Re: TSA Chat Down

Is it Israel that uses a questing process like this as a vetting tool for passengers? I it has been very successful in other countries. I hate the questions too but if they can make this an effective tool for screening out potential threats then I really don't mind some silly questions if it keeps ...

Re: Louisville 40205 Cell Service Selection

I work near campus and my company just switched from Sprint to Verizon because of coverage around downtown and campus. I have not seen a night or day difference but some crews that work downtown have seen great improvement. My wife still has AT&T with her personal phone and there are times when one ...

Re: Smokey mountain knife works

I remember Smoky Mountain Knife Works when it was in a building a 1/10 of that size and then they moved there and have grown since.... Been shopping there 20 years or better I remember the smaller location too. There was an awesome Army surplus store next to it so we always stopped at both of them ...

Re: Hands of Coal Across Bell County

Being from Bell County this made me very proud as well. I would love to see more South Eastern KY counties, Harlan for example, do something like this. Imagine a line through Bell, Harlan, Letcher, and Pike counties. Now that would be cool.

Re: "Doctors target gun violence as a social disease"

The sad part of this is that if there really was an unbiased evaluation of physiological factors that shooters such as James in Aurora demonstrated prior to the actual shooting they may be able to stop some of these events. BUT it is quite obvious from the article this is just a valid attempt to fin...

Re: Anyone here ever tried Tula 223?

I was about to ask the same question myself. I just picked up a few boxes at Walmart this week for less than $5 a box of 20. I had heard some bad things about it but for the price I don't mind cleaning a little more as long as it does not damage my AR. I will try it out next time I get to the range....

Re: abc news does ccdw test

This story is obviously biased against CCDW but my bigger concern is that it promulgates the "sheep" mentality so many Americans have now, to many people depend on the government and police to take care of them and they obviously can't.
