God help us. I'll bet the Foreign Legion has already been deployed. My wife was galvanized after watching a video on the refugee crisis in Europe. I foresee lots of training in our future.

Finally Got My Missouri Permit
Took a lot longer than I ever thought acceptable and the darn thing doesn't even have my picture on it. Took the mandatory class and got outshot by a first-time gun owner with a snub-nosed revolver. That's what several months of a new job, new marriage, and new everything will do to your skills. :ro...

Hey, with a name like Hearing Protection Act, maybe we can get all the Fudds behind it? And the suburban mothers too? "It's ok ma'am. With this new law, it'll be less expensive for me to quiet my rifle. I know how much the noise bothers you. You'll hardly notice I'm there!"

I Was Shown a New Grip
I moved to Missouri at the beginning of the year and took the CCW class Friday. During the qualification shoot, my group was ok but my support hand was so weak that I was readjusting after every short. The instructor asked me to change a few things and assume what he called "the push-pull method." I...

Thanks, guys. I lost a lot of weight thanks to my cardio. Figured it was time to resume now that the chaos of graduating, getting married, and moving to a new job has settled down.

Back on the Track
Went for a run for the first time in nearly six months. I've never done any outside training on inclines before. Made it probably half a mile before my body went, "Nope. Not doing it." Had to walk the rest of the way and this morning my legs are sooooore. Can't wait to see what happens when I get ba...

I'm going to wait a while. Just spent a good chunk of change on my AK getting a red dot, rail, and compensator. Not looking to spent it on anything else until after I've trained a bit.

This kind of stuff is giving lots of fuel to the radical right-wing parties in Europe. Anti-Muslim/immigrant fervor is at an all-time high.
