Re: Buying primers in bulk in KY?
I agree that Kentuckiana Reloading is a good place to go. good people and good prices. I like their location too. close to bridge and I65. https://www.facebook.com/Kentuckiana-Reloading-192625551277803/ I think they are not much better than the $40 per K on primers after tax. their powder prices are...

Re: Open carry
has anyone tried the tubes at Otter Creek recently? I like using the Taylorsville Lake range when firing reloads to work out new stuff I am testing. you can get a lot done there in a short period of time when compared to KCR. I do not like the $10 fee at Otter Creek but if it is used less than Taylo...

Re: Open carry
one of the last times I was at KCR, the range safety made a point of telling me that I was only allowed to collect my own brass and not the brass of the guy next to me who was shooting the same caliber and who had even told me it was okay to take his. the dude next to me could not believe it. they a...

Re: Central KY Gun Range
I have been meaning to check that place out. you can shoot 30-06 indoors there it seems like.
does $25 give you unlimited use for the month? also, I saw where a dude complained about not being allowed to collect his own brass there. does anyone who goes there know anything about this?

Re: Knob creek machine gun shoot ammo prices
they had IMI 5.56, 500 for $150 last April. Wolf Gold 223, 500/$150 was plentiful then too. 22 rounds were also abundant and reasonable early on Friday. I have recently gotten into reloading so am hoping for some deals on components and powder. anyone have a good experience with these prices there? ...

Re: KCR Machine gun shoot 2016
I just got home. it was nice to see plenty of 22LR. IMI 5.56 55 gr at $.30 a round. this one dude got some 1200 round cases and they knocked $10 off each. several places were selling wolf gold 223 for .30 a round.

Re: more scope questions... 3-9x40
I have a Nikon 4x12 P223 and like it a lot. I paid around $200 for it and was happy at the time. now Nikon is closing out the Buckmaster line which is a better scope if you do not adjust much. 4 x 12 for $150. 3 x 9 for $130. those are great scopes for lower than I paid. makes me mad. http://www.cab...

Re: Tumbling brass
I was thinking about getting into reloading. this seemed liked the cheapest way to get started. has anyone used one of these? the reviews make a good extended warranty sound good.

Re: Nikon P223 consideration....
I recently got a P223 4x12 and am really happy with it. I went just under $200. I plan on taking it to a 600 yard range in a couple of months. If you are wanting an adjustable, you might want to look on Amazon. Nikon Buckmaster 3x9 for around $190 after taxes. good optic and I think that series has ...

Re: Anyone got a farm/land just to do some plinking?
I have a place you might want to check out but it is actually in Indiana. it is about 25 miles of driving north of the river. I know you wanted someplace close but this is better. First, it is free. Secondly, you can shoot from dawn to dusk. I bet if you hit the range at the crack of dawn you would ...
