I've read that it's firing because the trigger doesn't have a safety on it itself and the weight of the trigger and inertia is letting it fire. i got it because of the large lanyard hole. I can tie it off on my belt loop so I don't loose it when I'm training a lot easier than knives with standard lanyard holes.
