Re: Stupid And Sometimes Not So Stupid Stuff

How's that evolving? The world NEEDS women in bikinis, not dudes in them...haha I personally don't have an issue with this, and I do think it's funny even. I'll take this AAAAAAANY DAY over an adult dude acting like a pubescent age girl. Sent from my SM-N981U using Tapatalk https://swimsuit.si.com/...

I’m not sure there are any hiking boots made in America any more. Go on www.Sierra.com and see if there are any good brands in your size on sale.

Re: Armslist Question

They screwed up and went too far. I probably bought and sold two dozen guns when it was free, and I would happily pay a fee to sell. I won’t, however pay just to browse. If they change their model to just charge sellers then I would come back, but I haven’t even looked at Armslist in months. I used ...

Louisville gun show shooting

I drove to Louisville this morning to go to the gun show only to find it was cancelled because there was a shooting yesterday. Of course they didn’t tell me this until after I had paid the $10 to park. I hate the Fairgrounds! Anyone here at the show when it happened? Media reports make it sound like...

Not looking to sporterize. I prefer she stays in the wood furniture. I've added the Volquartzen Automatic Bolt Release, Extended Mag Release, and the BX trigger assembly is on order. Any other cheap functionality/accuracy upgrades I can make? EDIT: use purpose for this gun. Shooting small animals, ...

Sig P365 for $399 at Rural King

The latest Rural King flier has a Sig P365 advertised for $399. That's $100 less than they usually sell for most places. The sale lasts until the weekend I think. I didn't call a store to verify stock. I know there at least 5 stores in KY (Owensboro, Georgetown, Shelbyville, Winchester, Elizabethtow...

Basically Geico was told to shut up and pay by the court The appeals court also found that Geico did not have the right to “re-litigate” the issues after the award had been affirmed. https://www.usatoday.com/story/money/2022/06/10/geico-std-lawsuit-missouri/7578871001/ That was by a state court. Should car insurance cover STDs caught while having sex in a car? Well apparently yes according to this to the tune of $5.2M Yes $5.2m The US woman, identified in court files as 'MO', said she caught the human papillomavirus (HPV) from having sex with her then-partner in his car. This week, the Mis...

I will just sell all my ARs for $1 and throw in the magazines for 500
Magazines will be taxed at the same rate, but I don’t think it can be applied to a private sale. So they will need to ban those too, which they are already trying to do.

KCR may have more guns on display but both Buds and KGC are far larger in terms of total sales thanks to their online stores especially Buds. So it depends on how you want to look at it. Well, in the case of Bud’s the online store and the retail store are two completely different operations. They o...

I went in Biff’s in Louisville today. He’s lost his FFL so it’s just basically a flea market now. He wouldn’t tell me why they revoked his license. I took them off the list. The real profit is not in guns but in gear but guns is what draws people in. Seems like they've forgotten that.
I’m a lefty. You could always count on their being close to a dozen LH bolt guns on the racks almost every time you were there. Today there was one, a $750 Savage in 223.

Re: List of gun shops still in business

Whittaker’s is a sad shadow of what it was when they were still in the old store. When they moved into the new building a lot of their their gun inventory was replaced with clothes and other stuff I don’t want. It’s a long drive for me and I don’t think I will bother making it again.
