Re: Casting 9mm

How are you coating them? Dry tumble? Spray gun? Are you standing them up individually or just pouring them on a tray and baking them? I have some powder but haven’t tried using it yet so I’m interested in how you are getting them to look that good.

Good pistol training in KY or southern OH or IN?

Anybody want to recommend a trainer for a defensive handgun course within a few hours drive in any direction? Not something basic like a CCW class but more like tactical or defensive shooting skills and mindset?

Re: Casting 9mm

My experience with the Lee tumble lube TC bullet is that it didn’t shoot worth a darn in any of my guns unless I Water dropped them directly from the mold to harden them up. I never use that mold anymore.

Buying primers in bulk in KY?

Is there any shop in KY where you can walk in and buy a case (5000) of primers at a reasonable price? I prefer to support an in-State shop instead of ordering online if I can. The reloading place in Richmond closed. Maybe KY Gun Co in Bardstown? Anywhere else?

I have the same mold but with a lube groove. I assume since you bought the smith sided version that you plan to powder coat or Hi Tek?

Powder bargain in Richmond but you have to hurry

The Reloader's Supply store in Richmond has all powder at 50% off. He has a bunch of AA#5 in 8 pound jugs for $88 bucks, and quite a few other 8 pounders of other common powders as well. The 1 pound jugs are around $13-14 on sale. The catch is that you have to get it quick. They guy told me he is sh...

Re: Gunsmoke -the TV series Page Wyatt daddy

Fun fact: Wyatt isn’t actually Page’s last name. Her real last name is Grewcock. For reals.

Another fun (non)fact: based on the length of her neck she contains 10% giraffe DNA.

Re: Stupid Stuff

Speaking of stupid stuff: has anyone heard Ron Dickson’s New commercial for National Gun Day on WHAS? It has a CB radio theme. “Breaker, breaker one nine.” Because CB radio is all the rage right now. It's a parody of "Convoy" by CW McCall. I know, I remember it. I'm 54 and that song was a minor hit...

You can always water drop your bullets to heat threat them. Even wheelweights are plenty hard when you drop them directly from the mold into a bucket of water.

Bucks 4 Bullets: wanna make a fortune?

http://citychurchinc.com/events.html

On October 14 a church in Louisville is offering to pay $1 per bullet to take them off the street. " No questions asked."

I don't see this going exactly like they planned. I have a brick of Thunderbolt I would be willing to sell them!

Make bump fire NFA...and then reopen the machine gun registry.

They want a compromise, give them one. :)
