Re: What did you pick up today?

Brickseek said there was a Henry 44 magnum for $169 at the Madison, IN store. The lady behind the counter said they didn’t and when I asked her to look it up she said she already had yesterday when somebody else came in looking for it. So I wouldn’t trust Brickseek for that particular store.

Re: What did you pick up today?

Picked up a Savage Axis in 270 from Walmart in Lawrenceburg for $124 and a Henry big boy 44 magnum for $399 in Crestwood. Shepherdsville Walmart are all still full price. They must not have a bunch of them, or they haven’t had them very long. The 270 I picked up from Lawrenceburg had a packing slip...

Picked up a 6.5 creedmoor at fern creek. Had to ask for axis & he got it out of the back room. Know there was a 308 still there.
Don’t forget to go to the Savage website and apply for the $50 rebate.

Re: What did you pick up today?

Hmm. Seems Bardstown's Walmart may have one each of the .308 and .223. I will caution you that sometimes Brickseek lags just a bit, so if it’s a long drive I might call and confirm they haven’t sold them. Also, I’ve been told they sometimes get bent out of shape if you tell them you saw something o...

Re: What did you pick up today?

Guess i need to be checking my local walmarts gun rack more often..... None of these guns were on the rack. I only knew they were on sale because someone on anther forum reminded me it's the annual August WM purge and I searched for them on Brickseek. I bought three guns in total and I had to ask t...

Re: What did you pick up today?

I should point out that when I last checked the Crestwood Walmart still had a few of the Axis rifles on clearance. And to make it even better there’s a $50 rebate in them. That makes my final cost $74 plus tax! Any calibers other than .270? If you go to Brickseek.com and use their inventory checker...

Re: Gun shows starting up again

Well, "need" is a relative term :)

I wanted to pick up a case of small rifle. I'm sure I still have 10,000 but it would give me an excuse to make the trip.

Gun shows starting up again

It looks like they're moving forward with having the Somerset gun show set for July 25-26. Wonder what kind of crowd they will get? Wonder if they will require masks or limit the number of people in the room at one time?

I'm almost tempted to drive to Somerset just to see. I need some primers anyway.

PSA PA-X9 dedicated lower for 9mm Glock mags (not an adapter) with a 16" PSA upper, rear sight and Magpul fixed carbine stock. This lower was originally configured as a pistol so you can legally convert it back into a pistol if you wanted to. I'll include a 30 round Glock magazine and a pistol tube...

Re: PSA 9mm AR Glock mags

Greetings: I’m not familiar with this particular manufacturer. Is it basically an AR platform set up in 9mm that utilizes Glock 9mm magazines? Is it still available? Thank you for your time. PSA is Palmetto State Armory. Google them and you’ll find out they are one of the biggest sellers of AR plat...

Re: Last National Gun Day in Lexington?

I realized I used the wrong name. Ron Dickson is the National Gun Day guy. Goodman stopped having ANY shows in KY a long time ago too,p. I think he stopped even before Dickson gave up.

I wouldn’t surprise me if the convention center banned gun shows. Lexington is kind of a commie town anyway.

Last National Gun Day in Lexington?

Anybody remember when Goodman used to have a NGD show in Lexington as well as Louisville? Does anybody remember when the last one was? It has to have been at least 15 years ago, I think. Kenny Woods is now holding his Lexington show at the Horse Park so I guess the Convention Center has made it too ...
