Have you checked your owners manual? My father in law had the same problem, it was a Ford and the manual told step by step how to program a fob.
Try to Google it. It was a very simple process.

Have you tried the old Kieslers in Indiana? They changed their name, i cant remember to what. I guess they would be somewhat local.

Some Wal-Marts still have them priced at 6.97 a box. The one on Outer Loop has them stickered at that price, but they are out of stock.
The Wal-Mart on Westport Rd. and Hillview have them listed for 10.97.

It was hard to find in stock. Whenever i seen it i bought it up. Hell, at 5.97 a box you could'nt beat the price. I won't buy any now at 10.97. I asked the guy behind the counter why the huge increase and he did'nt know why, they change prices almost daily on everything in the store.

Wal-Mart had a huge price increase with their Federal 20 rd. Black box American Eagle ammo. I bought several boxes last month at 5.97 or 6.97 a box. Today the same ammo is 10.97 a box.

I wouldn't try to fix it. Call or email Magpul and tell them what the issue is and I bet they tell you to mail it back to them and you'll get a new replacement. I had 2 bad ones and they took care of it. Pretty fast turn around. I'm impressed with their service.

All the used gear could be the crappy economy were in. .40 is a very popular and plentiful caliber. People sell their gear to make ends meet. I frequent pawn shops and see sooo many people trying to sell whatever they have left.
