I apologize for my inaccuracy in the Power Pistol price report but I'm glad that some folks were able to get some pistol powder.
Safe shooting.

Pistol Powder at Lexington Gun Show this weekend
Picked up some HP38 for $27/lb. Saw Power Pistol for $80/4lb jug. Also Unique, Titegroup, Clays, and Bullseye, along with a few others, were available today, all in 1 lb jars. At one of the booths, it was cheaper to buy 4 1-lb jars than one 4lb jug. No Win 231 in any size. If you're short, it might ...

Oops. Sorry.
It was news to me and the article was dated day before yesterday so I didn't look deep enough into the earlier threads.
I'll be more careful next time.

No more lead? Last US smelter closed by EPA.
The last US primary lead smelter (ie one that makes virgin lead from ore) has been forced to close because it can't meet the newest EPA regulations. Read the story here: http://dailycaller.com/2013/10/28/end-of-an-era-last-u-s-lead-smelter-to-close-in-december/ This may be the end of domestic lead p...

Re: POTUS to sign UN Arms Treaty "in very near future"
I doubt that it will get to a ratification vote in the Senate --I agree that it would never pass there -- but Obama is not interested in ratification anyway. He just wants cover for a series of executive orders banning the importation of guns and ammo. Remember Norinco? Banned by a set of executive ...

He's done. It's just a matter of time, now. If he had any brains, he'd grab whatever he and the First Wookie can carry and just disappear, before we catch up with him. In order for him to be removed from office (he doesn't have the integrity to resign), he will have to be convicted with a 2/3 major...

Re: 3D Printer Gun Files Blocked by Feds.
More metal lathes and milling machine in public than 3/D printers And that can make real guns The CNC versions can also use the same 3D files (or you can convert the files easily) and the prices are comparable to 3D printers. You can also find kits/plans to build your own CNC machines or adapt Harb...

3D Printer Gun Files Blocked by Feds.
The site that received the publicity for the 3D printed gun a few days ago has had public access to its 3D files blocked by the feds. The feds "requested" that the company no longer distribute the files and the company has complied. Not that important as the files are already all over the place. Sti...

Re: Arizona Militia
If this militia movement could link up with the recent state efforts to nullify federal laws (gun laws, obamacare, etc.), and if it could occur in CONTIGUOUS and collaborating states, we might have a chance to save this country after all. As long as I'm dreaming ... If those states also included Tex...

Re: Armed march on Washington DC scheduled for July 4, 2013
I agree with you, thousands of armed citizens marching on a nation's capital would hardly be subtle. Nor could such a march be expected to be non-violent. I'm not sure that it's all that well thought out yet -- it's was only just announced today. If a significant media site/channel picks it up and i...

Re: .22 ammo prices will return to normal when....
I think that a lot of the people paying these prices are preppers who think that 22LR ammo will be a form of currency when the SHTF. My guess is that many do not even own a gun. If I'm right, then the prices will return to normal when (1) these folks stop prepping (like THAT's going to happen) or, m...

The federal govt, under threat of force, takes money from us and gives it to people like these guys. These people then use that money to build bombs to blow us up. The govt. offers no apology for this outrage, admits no wrongdoing here, and proposes no changes to prevent this from re-occurring in th...

At least the FBI admitted that it didn't find ricin in the guy's home and, more importantly, didn't go ahead and "find" it anyway.
I would imagine that the guys who did the search will be let go soon.

A kit is a reasonable way to start but, as the others have mentioned, a turret press kit will be in a similar price range and will give a good combination of volume production (esp. for pistol ammo) and single-stage precision. My first press was the Lyman T-Mag kit ($390 at Cabela's http://www.cabel...
