Re: Who knows this POS?
I know this guy. He came into the Social Security office in the Gene Snyder courthouse all the time when he was getting on disability. I actually remember him coming in when he had 2 legs because he was a loud mouth and wore bits of army uniform with civilian clothes like a big dbag. After he lost h...

That's how this g3 works. No clicky. Watch review on the thyrm ring on YouTube. It allows regular 2 hand grip and thumb pushes tab on ring for light.

My latest light
This old school surefire g3 with led drop in gives me as much light as my streamlight HL3. It's way lighter and the bezel is thinner. The thyrm ring and clip allows for easy pocket carry and is more easily used with a pistol.

Re: anybody into CB's?
Ok, since I found a small hotbed of CB guys... I have an inquiry. I have a Chrysler 300C that I'd like to have a CB in. I don't want a hard mounted dash unit like what you typically see in pickups. I'd like to have something that I could soft mount (non-permanent mods) to the side of the center con...

Picked up a Otis bone tool for cleaning hard spots on AR bolt and carrier.
A sling shot.
Yesterday I got a MOE grip and rifle hndguards. A rail price and a CAA light mount. Jury is still out on mount.

A really fucking bright flashlight, a "tactical" pen, extra money to give away if you are robbed and don't want to fight. Photo copies of your documents, and a phone number of an English speaking lawyer.

Here is a good example of the hate crime laws being used to target a large organization. KKK right here in KY, at the Meade co fair.

Re: Mag carriers
When you pull it bullets rearward hand comes straight up and into the mag well, you don't even have to twist it like bullets forward. Your way is definitely the more normal apparently but just feels weird to me. I go bullets to the rear. Most people say bullets front because of the index finger thi...

Re: Troubling decision
The issue for Judge Starrett was that Mississippi is an “at will” employment state. Mississippi rightfully gives employers great leeway to hire or fire whomever they want. It is their company and they have the right to choose the employees they desire. An at will state can fire for any reason. It's...

I like the xd45 tactical. It seems to be very popular. I can't recall ever seeing a service model 45. I'd go tactical over service.

Immediate improvement on my two wolf shirt By Yossarian - May 22, 2009 I'm just a regular American guy. I've got a truck, smoke a little too much, maybe missing a few toes. Nothing too unusual. At my 9-to-5 I've gotten by for years on my old Two Wolf Moon T-Shirt. "Bring the loader over to bay 4" th...

I'll probably be shunned for saying this but stop leak will sometimes work. Get it good and hot before you put it in. When the leak stops flush the system.

Re: To the guy carrying the gun into Red Lobster on Friday n
Yeah it would suck to arrest someone as a non Leo. I don't know how you would hold them without cuffs and non deadly force. Gunpoint even if no shot is fired is deadly force. I guess if it was some unarmed twig boy and you could hold him til the cops got there the law just keeps you from being sued....

A private person can not use deadly force to effect the arrest.
