Speer gold dots are my favorite to buy loaded or to handload. Been wanting to try the berry's hybrid hollow points.

Re: IDPA shooters here?
Just figured I would update. Been to 6 idpa matches so far. Can't believe I waited this long to get started. I highly recommend everyone here try it out. 2017 rules say non members can shoot 3 matches before they are required to pay for a membership. The match fees are less than most indoor ranges c...

Re: Repeal the NFA petition whitehouse.gov
Checked the petition today and it has surpassed the goal. So now the whitehouse has to address the petition in 60 days. 128,507 signatures. Signatures will still be counted until the 30 day mark. I'm honestly surprised and ashamed this isn't at 1,000,000 signatures. Where is the NRA on this?

Re: KY Constitutional Carry
Since I've been here, a check has been run on me at least a half dozen times. I've always offered it but the check was run anyway Where are you buying? I haven't had an NICS check run since I got mine except at Walmart when I bought the American Rifle .308 for $199. Actually if you have a ccdw, KSP...

Re: Repeal the NFA petition whitehouse.gov
I doubt stuff like this is an actual petition. I signed one like this a while back and got a flood of emails asking to support this and that cause. Financial support of course. I signed this one too though just because there's a chance it's legit. Its an actual petition on the actual whitehouse web...

New etown gun range
Went to Central KY Gun Club range today. Nice new indoor range with 25 yard rifle and pistol range. Reminds me of Open Range in Crestwood. Still under construction but the range is open and the gun store has a large selection of guns. They are apparently building a "tactical bay" which should allow ...

Another vote for Streamlight HL4. I have the HL and HL3 and they are great value.

I think this has a good chance of passing. If this is the first big thing the NRA is pushing after all the Republican victories that's a good sign.

Re: Right to Work
I'm all for option. That's coming from a former Local union VP. I figured at the time that since I had to be in the union, I may as well be in charge. My opinion is that the union will do better at listening to members if it actually has to work to keep their dues.

I definitely like it. I won't be first in line to buy one at that price. I wouldn't say its overpriced though. I read that the company already makes a trigger without the safety to swap in If you prefer.

Re: IDPA shooters here?
Get a vest Watch the regular shooters and imitate their movements Follow the stage instructions Reload behind cover Don't get sucked into the cover its pointless for a 3' closer shots it just slows your movement Practice your single hand pistol shots (strong and weak) Uspsa is more fun and flexible...

Re: Springfield Armory Saint
I read that the bolt is mpi carpenter 158. I'd said I would never buy a complete AR again but this one should be a great deal on the used market since the retail is already pretty reasonable. If I had to buy factory built instead of building my own is much rather buy a $800 Springfield than a $500 D...

Re: I am going to vote for Trump.
I'm voting Trump because fuck Hillary. And I don't think a 3rd party is any different. We would just end up voting for the lesser of 3 evils instead of two, and we would have a leader of the country that 66% of the voting public didn't vote for.
