Re: Time to have the car serviced
I have an 05 honda accord. For what its worth on that "having to try a couple times to get it started" issue, I had that as well. Went on for 20-30k miles and then the car wouldn't start. RUGER GP100 Stainless
Letting go of my Stainless Ruger GP100 with 6" barrel. Trying to fund some other projects. Might consider some trades but really looking to get some more AR action going.
Looking to get $450 and can throw in a box of 38 ammo if that entices you more. Click on the picture for larger view.

FS: CZ75BD
For Sale is my really nice CZ 75BD pistol. Comes with case, paperwork and extra 16 round magazine. In my opinion (and a few experts) it is one of the best 9mm pistols around. Nice gun but I have an older one and want to rediversify some funds into other project. I can consider trades but cash talks....

Does anyone have any experience with these? I don't know how to value it. It is not new but not abused. Its in decent coll...

Re: For long-unemployed, hiring bias rears its head
Oh and I have been with my friend when people come in looking for jobs in sandals ; Manpris /holy shorts; and ripped t-shirts...to work in a retail environment. It is amazing to me to see how people do come in when they are job hunting, but on the flip side now some of these same people are running...

Re: You should get your ham radio license
My uncle in TN has been doing this since the 70's (as long as I can remember) and he is N4BPT (on his license plate). He has a whole room set up for it and a large tower next to the house. I wouldn't mind getting a handheld unit and taking the test. He use to let us listen to the Russian Woodpecker ...

Re: Stand your ground?
My thoughts are that the kid was trespassing, neighborhood watch dude followed him to make sure he left and to tell him not to do it again, kid didn't like it, something something something happened and guy shoots kid. Not judging, but easy to see what I think happened.
