Re: HSGI belts and rifle tacos - Multicam

It's a little big for me. I could make it work, but I'd buy a small. Slo-vo is in the smedium club, too.

Re: AR pistol question

Contact the manufacturer with the serial number and ask what it was manufactured as. If it left the factory as an "Other" receiver or as a pistol receiver, I'd consider it reasonably safe. There's no practical way to determine if a receiver that was manufactured as Pistol/Other was ever configured a...

Could look better if I was editing the original. I actually did think that was a blemish originally. I'd have either put an obvious black box over it or made it look perfect enough that no one would question it.

Re: CZ P10 Striker Fired Handgun

P10C magazines are available for purchase from Greg Cote. These are the magazines that are currently shipping with new CZ P-07 pistols, so if you have a P-07 and want a P10C.... stock up. Note the price is considerably less than older P-07 magazines and lower than the $35 MSRP. http://gregcotellc.co...

Re: CZ P10 Striker Fired Handgun

The frame honestly looks the same to me, but obviously the slide is longer. I wonder if they plan to release a long slide compact frame version, or just haven't gotten to molding new frames yet. It's a long way out, so plenty can change. Personally I don't care much about a full size version, but it...

This is a great trigger with the supplied np3 trigger bar and stock springs. I've been using the Overwatch TAC for about six months now.

Re: CZ P10 Striker Fired Handgun

For LE, Mil, and First Responders mag price alone is not a valid argument. They're still more expensive, but not prohibitively so.

Very jealous you made it out there, I wanted to go so bad it has been killing me.

I moved my 700ish pound safe down a ramp and into the house with three friends and a lightweight dolly. I did NOT expect the dolly to survive but it was a trooper lol. There are a ton of tricks and methods to moving a safe, from winches to golf balls. Putting plywood over carpet can make it easier....

Re: Looking at gun safes..opinions welcome

If you buy 10ga or thinner your safe can be pretty easily breached with an axe or usually just pried open. 10ga is obviously much better than 14ga or even thinner, but it's still axe-breachable. I think about 14ga and thinner can just be cut open with a circular saw like a can of tuna. 8ga and thick...

Reports of "Active Shooter" at Ben Taub Hospital, Houston

Active shooter doesn't seem to be very active, though. I think this will turn out to be a false alarm. Police searching the hospital, have been on site for nearly an hour. Employees and police milling about outside. No injured people, weapons, or shooters found yet. http://abc13.com/news/watch-live-...

Re: Gen4 G19 for da/sa pistol

If you can't find the right trade just sell it and get exactly what you want. If you want to practice for the job you'd be a fool to not stay compatible with your issued gun. Share magazines, holsters, aftermarket parts, mag pouches, etc. Maintain familiarity between controls, draw and presentation,...

Re: Anti-walk pins

If your pins walk, you have a problem. Either the pins or the lower. That said, barring a few exceptions, it's not detrimental to install anti-walk pins.

KNS pins are pretty highly regarded. I've never had to use them, but based on who else recommends them, I'd say they'd be your best bet.
