9. Your favorite .22 pistol?
10. Your favorite sentimental gun?
11. Most fun gun you've ever shot?
12. One gun that's a gun everyone should own at some point or another?

Re: Gun picks
1. SCAR...Love the SCAR platform!
2. 8mm Mauser. Amazing action and I shot my first deer with it. Good accuracy, just good all around gun.
3. Same Mauser as above that is now in the works in being transformed into a 7mm Mauser tackdriving bolt action masterpiece! Can't wait to get it back...
4. Marlin 39a. Just absolutely love shooting this gun. FVSR for suppressed though. Big 10/22 fan also!
5. Non-rimfire would be Win model 94 30-30. A great all around lever gun, accurate, near perfect rifle for Ky. Of coarse 39a for rimfire.
6. Moss 930SPX currently. Feels good, it works and fast!
7. Hands down 9mm Shield. Love everything about it...
8. Toss up between Dan Wesson 1911 and S&W 686. 1911's were sent straight from God himself made for me. 686 has the slickest trigger of any revolver if ever fingered...
9. It's always been my old Buckmark Challenger but think it's been surpassed by my Paclite 22/45 just because it's a PERFECT all around .22 pistol. Amazing trigger, accurate, basically maintenance free, threaded, feeds ANYTHING and works even when it's filthy (which is 99% of the time...haha)!
10. This is a hard one of me. I'm generally not a very sentimental person, but I have a few very sentimental guns. Probably 7mauser that was given to my little brother by my Papaw, both of which have passed. Ruger .45LC of my dad's that was his pride and joy is up there also. It would be a near tie between those two. Another couple of my dad and grandparents are close behind.
11. Absolutely would be full auto G17! Absolutely useless but fun as shit and EVERYONE needs to shoot one at least once in their lives!
12. M1A. Absolutely LOVE those rifles!!! Hate that I let the one I had go. I WILL have another one though...

Re: Gun picks
I`ll play. My favorite levergun is a Marlin 1894C .357 mag / 38 spc. This is one of the handiest little carbines ever made in my opinion. With a 18 inch barrel and suitable loads the 357 nips at the heels of a 30/30 Win. Even with those loads they are very manageable by most anyone. If distance is less than 75 yards and a suitable projectile used most any deer around here would be " hooves up ". Downloaded ammo can be near the cost of todays .22 lr ($0.10 / round) and a lot more satisfying! In a pinch, not bad at home / personal defense. Especially rocking out a 158 jhp at 1750 fps! An issue not mentioned often is that some states are not handgun friendly. When traveling in these cesspools the innocent looking levergun draws less attention. The 9 round tube mag is not seen as evil as a detachable box magazine also. The 1894 44mag is nice as well but all around ,I usually have one of the 357`s with me will woods loafing.
The practice of carrying and shooting also carrys over to my 1895`s in 45/70. Just a bigger hammer!

Re: Gun picks
Once again. My most sentimental firearm is the Pre-64 Winchester 94 that I inherited from my father. When I took possession of that rifle, I had just had a cardiac cath (stress) and a pregnant wife due anyday. My Son and Father missed seeing each other by a few days. I had not and could not grieve or be fully happy. Deer season wasn't too far out, so I decided the the 94 and I would spend some time in the woods. Long story short, I shot a buck with that old rifle and the deer fell at the shot. Not bad for 40+ year old eyes and open sights! That evening all was right.
Might have somethingto do with my levergun fancy!

1. Your favorite tactical type rifle AR/AK/SCAR/whatever?
- AR for me. Tried a Zastava N-pap AK-47 and it just wasn't for me.
2. Your favorite high power hunting rifle?
- N/A as I don't hunt. Would like to learn some day though. I think I would like to take a deer using the Marlin 30-30 I inherited from my Dad.
3. Favorite bolt rifle?
- A Mosin-Nagant 91-30 (only bolt action I own).
4. Your favorite .22 rifle?
- I have a weakness for Marlin 60's. Have one I inherited from Dad and a few others I couldn't help but give a new home!!
5. Your favorite lever rifle?
- Have to say a Henry Big Boy in .357 Magnum
6. Your favorite shotgun?
- Mossberg 500
7. Your favorite carry pistol?
- Glock 19
8. Your favorite target/range pistol?
- 1911
9. Your favorite .22 pistol?
- a High Standard Sentinel Deluxe
10. Your favorite sentimental gun?
- a toss-up on this one. The Marlin 30-30 from Dad, but also the Glenfield 60 (from Dad's estate). I have memories of shooting the Glenfield but the Marlin came to Dad later in his life.
11. Most fun gun you've ever shot?
- One of my Marlin .22lr rifles. When you go the range with the intention of firing 100 rounds, and then 200 or so rounds later you have to make yourself put it away then you are having fun
12. One gun that's a gun everyone should own at some point or another?
- definitely a 1911

Re: Gun picks
The most fun gun I've ever shot? I was in the National Guard for almost 10 years. My MOS only required that I qualify with the M9 Beretta each year. Seeing as I love to shoot, I sought out to shoot anything available to me wherever I was. Especially if uncle sugar is paying for the ammo. I had the glorious opportunity to shoot the John Moses Browning masterpiece, the M2 heavy machine gun MA Deuce. I had finished with my duty for the day and made my way to range road. I was looking for the red range flags. I had hit the mother lode! I met with the 1st Lt. to see if there was enough ammo for some familiarization fire of the 50 cal. He said there was plenty. I was able to not only bang out 20 rounds but shoot the 200 round course! For someone in my MOS I was in uncharted territory and was in Heaven! I was told afterwards that my engagements out to the maximum effective range was in the category to qualify! The others in my unit got very tired of hearing about that! I am thankful to this day for the time and the graciousness of that young LT. I did my duties of the day and sought out "adventures " afterwards. I was even able the meet the one and only ChopperDoc during one of those times.
I know not what the future holds, but I know Who holds the future.

1. Your favorite tactical type rifle AR/AK/SCAR/whatever?
The AR-15. It is a mature platform that keeps getting better. That said, I eagerly await its successor.
2. Your favorite high power hunting rifle?
Depends on what's being hunted.
3. Favorite bolt rifle?
US Army M2010
4. Your favorite .22 rifle?
Winchester 9422, but I have my eye on a CZ.
5. Your favorite lever rifle?
Winchester 9422
6. Your favorite shotgun?
A shotgun is a tool for breaching, less-lethal, or hunting small/flying game. I don't do much of any of that.
7. Your favorite carry pistol?
So far it's a Glock 17 or 19, subject to change.
8. Your favorite target/range pistol?
I don't have one yet. Try to sway me with yours.
9. Your favorite .22 pistol?
I'm a big fan of the Browning Buckmark, but Ruger has the suppressed .22lr pistol market cornered.
10. Your favorite sentimental gun?
Probably my first firearm, a New England Firearms break action .410, gifted to me by my great grandmother. Eventually it'll have to compete with a Colt Diamondback from my grandpa.
11. Most fun gun you've ever shot?
Three way tie between an M2010, a suppressed FVSR, and a Winchester 9422.
12. One gun that's a gun everyone should own at some point or another?
A quality, well thought out and refined AR-15.

There are criminals among us who are both homicidal and incorrigible. Their parents took a shot at civilizing them and failed. Their school teachers took a shot at them and failed. The odds are overwhelming that government welfare programs and penal institutions took a shot at them and failed. If it ever becomes your turn to take a shot at them, don’t fail.

Re: Gun picks
Favorite bolt gun was a hard decision when it was between
220Swift 270Win 30-06 300WinMag and 300 RUM
Have to many shotguns to consider also but my wife bought me the 11-87

Re: Gun picks
What are your picks? (each with its own story of course)
1. Your favorite tactical type rifle AR/AK/SCAR/whatever?
SCAR without a doubt. Its different, its fun, its just awesome!!
2. Your favorite high power hunting rifle?
I don't hunt but I have a Whitworth 375 H&H Magnum safari rifle which would fill that bill I guess. Will kill anything on the planet.
3. Favorite bolt rifle?
Would have to be the 700 SSD-AC I think is the designation. Have 2 and they are the most fun. Second runner ups would be the 03A3 or 1917 enfield.
4. Your favorite .22 rifle?
Would be the Smith & Wesson 15-22 whereas most may say the 10-22 I would prefer this for the ease of mag loading and having a red dot on top and similar style to the AR. I did enjoy the HK MP5 lookalike about as much though.
5. Your favorite lever rifle?
Having never shot any of the 30-30's I have for whatever reason, I would say the Henry .22 lever action would be the current favorite since I have shot it and is fun.
6. Your favorite shotgun?
The Benelli m4 when I can find it in the house.
7. Your favorite carry pistol?
The Sig P938 for now until something more favorable comes along.
8. Your favorite target/range pistol?
The KelTec PMR 30 just for the sheer fun of it. 30 rounds in a mag and as light when loaded as any empty pistol. A nice report when firing and amazing accuracy from mine.
9. Your favorite .22 pistol?
Aside from the .22 mag one in #8 , it would be the Ruger PacLite due to its lightness and accuracy and consistent functionability.
10. Your favorite sentimental gun?
Hard to say, of my personal owning would be my Charter Arms AR-7 I have had since I was a kid. Many fun times with my buddy and that rifle walking down the RR tracks to the local field and shooting at all sorts of junk people dumped there.
From my grandfather would be his no-name double barrel shotgun from around the 1930's I would guess.
From my dad would be Smith Model 10 that he asked my grandfather to send to him while he was in VN and the granddad wouldn't because he thought he would get in trouble. So my grandmother took it and secured it inside a big box of cracker jacks and sent it to him. Came back from the war with him and I have it now. In amazing condition but I know it somehow gave him some security while in a war zone.
11. Most fun gun you've ever shot?
The " pig" M-60 in the army. Literally enjoyed the hell out of that one. (LAW rockets were better but not a gun I guess).
12. One gun that's a gun everyone should own at some point or another?
Frankly, I think it should be an AR15. I think everyone in the country should learn the main rifle of the Army just in case the SHTF and based on the fact that the country's that do (Israel, Switzerland, etc) seem to have a pretty good luck with the policy. It wouldn't hurt every house to have one and be familiar with the platform IMHO.
