How about a Roosters meet on Sat Aug 15?
Say 6:00 at the Roosters on Preston.
I know it's a little short notice but what the heck.
What do you say?

There are criminals among us who are both homicidal and incorrigible. Their parents took a shot at civilizing them and failed. Their school teachers took a shot at them and failed. The odds are overwhelming that government welfare programs and penal institutions took a shot at them and failed. If it ever becomes your turn to take a shot at them, don’t fail.

I can try to make it - I will be at work Saturday anyway
It is hardly too strong to say that the Constitution was made to guard the people against the dangers of good intentions. There are men in all ages who mean to govern well, but they mean to govern. They promise to be good masters, but they mean to be masters. - Daniel WebsterMexican Kerry wrote:Except for Viv. As this will likely be my last chance to make one of these, I'll do my best to be there.

Going to try to show up. I do have to work tomorrow night but I got to eat too. Depends on how much sleep I get that morning & how much yard work I get done. Got a Bassett hound that keeps escaping the back yard & have to figure out a way to contain her.

Holy crap! I just remembered! Tomorrow is Mrs. W's birthday! Rooster's is not the kind of place she would pick for a birthday dinner.
How about everybody meet up at Brasserie Provance?
I like you guys, but not enough to stand up my wife on her birthday! I like breathing!

If you want me to be able to make it, yes, but I know that would wrench some people's plans......

I can make it either day. Wyldman is moving next week. It would be nice to have a send-off for him. I'd vote to move to Sunday.

Re: How about a Roosters meet on Sat Aug 15?
That was kind of my idea. But tell you what, lets keep the Sat one going since people have probably made plans around that, and I'm willing to do something Sun as well for Wyldman since this will be the last time we may see him in Ky. Murphy's law got involved on the timing here, but screw Murphy.Gunsmokin wrote:I can make it either day. Wyldman is moving next week. It would be nice to have a send-off for him.
