this is how hoarding and gouging starts...
so I get a text from a friend of mine:
you can see part of my replies....
then 2 hours later, another friend texted me 'your president is coming after our ammo'.
I explained it to him, too.
is their some Fakebook group out there spewing this crap, that they would have seen today?
I looked at a couple of my go-to online sources for cheap Wolf 5.56/.223.... OUT OF STOCK
has it started again already?

I agree, the scarcity in ammo sucks, but is probably the greatest thing to happen for the Armed citizen. How many times have you visited someone, relative new budd, etc., and they showed you a collection of guns, but their was prob not even two boxes of ammo for each firearm in total. LOL or plan to go shooting with someone and they have to stop somewhere to get some ammo first. I always said don't worry so much about the guns in America, there is almost one for every man woman and child, worry about the ammo supply, as that is the world level strategy for stifling any "unauthorized" armed conflict. I am betting that's half the reason they took out the Khadafi's, as they have been munitions trading with both sides of many conflicts for decades. Hoarding ammo is a good thing, and your patriotic duty, I just wish the .22 guys would give it a rest LOL

Why would they give it a rest when hoarding is a "good" thing as you say?richief wrote: Hoarding ammo is a good thing, and your patriotic duty, I just wish the .22 guys would give it a rest LOL
There are criminals among us who are both homicidal and incorrigible. Their parents took a shot at civilizing them and failed. Their school teachers took a shot at them and failed. The odds are overwhelming that government welfare programs and penal institutions took a shot at them and failed. If it ever becomes your turn to take a shot at them, don’t fail.

Yeah was in dunhams in Somerset earlier and the guy behind the counter was telling me and another guy standing there we better buy some 223/556 because there getting ready to ban it all. I just walked off and shook my head.
Also some news reports on it have in the title obamas banning ar15 ammo and nobody has time to read it so try just think it's all ar ammo.
Sent from somewhere over yonder.

I don't doubt for one minute that this Shit Stain of an administration would go after all 5.56/223 ammo if enough noise is not made about the current ban.gaston_kalash wrote:Yeah was in dunhams in Somerset earlier and the guy behind the counter was telling me and another guy standing there we better buy some 223/556 because there getting ready to ban it all. I'm sure a lot of Brits thought "Oh, its just our Hand guns!" but you see where that went.

Exactly. I was actually born in England (father was in the Air Force) and thank god I didn't have to grow up there and got to be raised in the greatest country on earth.

And when prices get stupid high, I will sell off thousands of my rounds......again.
Then buy it all back when prices come back to reality.
Just like AR15's and PMAGS.

I just read a blurb on Yahoo's home page that seems to be the source; it says Obama is using executive order to ban AR15 ammo since his gun control proposals were blocked.
5.56 is being cleaned out online as we speak.

Re: this is how hoarding and gouging starts...
Step 1) Buy up all the cheap ammo
Step 2) Start rumor that the above ammo will be banned
Step 3) Sit back and watch people panic and the price jumps and the supply runs out.
Step 4) Sell ammo bought in step 1 to a panic stricken public for 500% profit.
