Re: Star Wars trailer
It died when the Ewoks showed up and then was buried deep by JarJar long before Disney.Toddstang wrote:It died with Lucas.
Screw Disney.
There are criminals among us who are both homicidal and incorrigible. Their parents took a shot at civilizing them and failed. Their school teachers took a shot at them and failed. The odds are overwhelming that government welfare programs and penal institutions took a shot at them and failed. If it ever becomes your turn to take a shot at them, don’t fail.

Re: Star Wars trailer
First one (rebranded later as episode IV) was good, the second one (Empire Strikes Back) was outstanding, the third one (Look at the cute Ewoks) Lucas decided to get cute and play to the children and it was all downhill from there. With Episode I (Jarjar must die) the bottom fell out.

Re: Star Wars trailer
I myself was only complaining about the direction Lucas took the films in, he took it to the kiddie side where they have cookies. As far as Disney goes, they could be a huge improvement.

Re: Star Wars trailer
I like the fact that JJ is all about practice effects on this...building a full size falcon and xwing instead of green screening and doing everything digitally sure there will be a ton of digital effects too, but Lucas went crazy with redoing the originals with all new digital crap that IMO took a lot away from the films.

I want the original trilogy remastered on bluray JUST like they were in the theater...no new crap, nothing changed, just cleaned up and remastered for hi-def, but Lucas won't do itWLJ wrote:Oh and BTW

Re: Star Wars trailer
The "middle" trilogy was awesome, I love all 3 of them. The "first" trilogy was awful IMO, but I'm going into the "last" trilogy with new eyes, hoping they ride some of the awesomeness from the middle 3.

Re: Star Wars trailer
After seeing Episode 1 on opening night in a theater I lost interest. I bought 2 and 3 on DVD but I honestly don't know if I have ever watched them all the way through. I am kind of looking forward to this new one though.
