Robbery/Shooting near U of L
Sounds like the U of L employee was a CCDW holder and used it.

Re: Robbery/Shooting near U of L
Not near UofL proper as you think of it but near UofL’s Health and Science campus which is downtown.
Note the underlined.
Note the underlined.
It happened in the Liberty Green apartment complex, which sits directly next to UofL’s Health and Science campus. It’s the same complex that’s been hit with armed robberies not once but four times this month.
There are criminals among us who are both homicidal and incorrigible. Their parents took a shot at civilizing them and failed. Their school teachers took a shot at them and failed. The odds are overwhelming that government welfare programs and penal institutions took a shot at them and failed. If it ever becomes your turn to take a shot at them, don’t fail.

Main Campus (Belknap)is at Eastern Pkwy & 3rd. The campus in the news story is E. Liberty Street which is North of Broadway.Rem700 wrote:Isnt pretty much all of U of L downtown?

Its still downtown. They didn't try and make this a "school shooting" (Bloomberg probably added it to his list, but that is expected).

Re: Robbery/Shooting near U of L
This happened a block from UofL hospital. I worry about this every time I walk in and out of work. We are not allowed to carry into the Hospital.
Re: Robbery/Shooting near U of L
At least they could keep a gun safe at the entrance so people wouldn't be defenseless going to and from the building. But, hell no. Why do anything to protect employees.Smithengineered wrote:This happened a block from UofL hospital. I worry about this every time I walk in and out of work.
