Click on this link https://www.nraila.org/take-action/writ ... lawmakers/ and copy/paste the following message to your lawmakers, or write you own. Insist that all your friends and family do the same, and continue to contact them... Handgun ammo went first, then "specific" rifle cartridges and so on. Now, Russian 7N6 5.45mm is banned, and .223/5.56 NATO M885/SS109 is soon to be next. Get off the bench and into the game. If you genuinely believe "They won't come for my caliber" or "There will always be something else I can shoot so I don't care" then you are a poor student of history and are part of the problem, not the solution. Click the link, fill out the form, copy this message to your lawmakers or write your own. Not later today, not next week. Now. Keep contacting them and burn up the phone lines as well.

I am contacting you today to voice my opposition to the proposed BATFE ruling to unjustly reclassify common, domestically produced .223 Remington or 5.56mm NATO caliber M855/SS109 type ammunition as "armor piercing". This round is the most popular sporting caliber chambered in America's most popular sporting rifle, the AR15; and this constitutes a blatant attempt to further undermine and infringe upon the rights of the citizens of the United States on the sole basis of semantics. Incrementally pushing back-door gun control is NOT the answer we want to the problems facing our society. Basing actions such as this and other bits of legislation on emotion, false-facts and a clear anti-gun agenda will only serve to further endanger those who seek to defend themselves and their loved ones from harm and place our law enforcement officers in harms way by ensuring those who do posses arms and ammunition are criminals intent on breaking the law. I urge you to take an unbiased look at the facts of this matter, reach out to informed industry experts and exercise sound judgement in opposing this proposed ban.

Guys and gals whether you shoot this ammo or not please don't sit on the side lines thinking that everyone else will do this and you won't need to.
The BATF will continue to take everything one piece at a time if our voices are not heard.
