Just ordered a 3 prong flash hider. Now i need a old sling.
I know its not a perfect clone but close enough with my budget build.

Should i have the barrel, upper, and lower refinished in the colt gray?

Switched out my a2 upper for a colt a1 upper. Added 3 prong flash hider.
Just ordered a retro style sling too.

I would have kept an A1 birdcage flash hider, as the three-prong version was before my time, but the A1 upper is a definite improvement.

I need to make me one of those.

definitely refinish in the Colt gray! Norrell's Moly Resin in Grey-black is an exact match and what the Army uses to refinish their Colts.
